TOUGHENED GLASS: Toughened glass is around 6 times stronger than normal glass so it is less likely to break and when it does break the glass breaks into harmless small pieces.

LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. The length is the door wall. The sizes quoted do not include the roof overhang or canopy. All sizes quoted are the external log cabin sizes unless stated otherwise.

OPTIONS - you can add any of these options to your basket

  • Floor insulation
  • Roof insulation
  • DIY base kits
  • Solar powered inside lights
  • Solar powered outside lights
  • The door and window positions can be reversed on site and do not need to be specified when ordering

UNDERFLOOR INSULATION: The underfloor insulation is designed to suit our timber floor. This ensures that the internal appearance with attractive and durable tongued and grooved boards is unchanged. Our unique plastic clips ensure that the insulation is suspended at the optimum height. With no nails or other fixings required, fitting is much quicker and easier with our clips. Detailed instructions are supplied. The floor insulation used is 50mm thick polystyrene which is certified by the British Board of Agrement.

ROOF INSULATION: The roof insulation is laid over the roof boards and below the roofing felt. This ensures that the internal appearance with attractive tongued and grooved boards is unchanged. The roof insulation kit includes rigid foam boards which are lightweight and easy to install. Longer felt nails are included for fixing the roofing felt through the insulation. Timber battens are also included to retain the insulation boards and to conceal the exposed edges. Detailed instructions are supplied. The roof insulation is 50mm thick polyurethane foam with foil laminate facing on both sides. It is certified by the British Board of Agrement.

PRESERVATIVE TREATMENT: We recommend good quality microporous woodstains which are impervious to water but not to water vapour,. This allows the wood to breathe. There are many different types of woodstains available to suit a variety of timber products from fence panels to hardwood windows. It is advisable to seek advice at a builder's merchant or hardware shop before choosing the most suitable preservative.

HEAVY DUTY DIY BASE KITS: These eco friendly plastic pavers are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Lightweight and easy to install, the finished base will outlast any garden building. Extensive preparation is not normally required - just level the soil and lay the pavers directly on the soil. No sand or shingle is required. Weed membranes are not recommended with timber floors. Unlike paving or concrete these bases are self draining and fully relocatable. Designed to spread weight and capable of supporting 75 tonnes, each paver is 50mm thick and quickly clipped together with 8 separate locking points per paver to ensure maximum rigidity. Each paver is 500mm x 500mm. Where space permits the base is normally laid full size but if required in a tight location the pavers can be easily cut to size with no loss of structural integrity. The base can be up to 1" or 25mm smaller than your building. Fast delivery within 3-5 days ensures that you can start work quickly.
